Dr. Sabrina Gratia completed a 7 year Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic medicine from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her adult psychiatry residency at Albany Medical Center and her child and adolescent fellowship at Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Gratia has also received additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy through Columbia’s University Center for Psychoanalytic Training.
As an osteopathic physician, she understands that the mind and body are deeply connected. Dr. Gratia prefers to use holistic approaches, such as individual psychotherapy and lifestyle changes to help treat her patients.
Dr. Gratia is able to treat a wide range of psychological and emotional issues; including Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Panic disorder, Trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and others. She has a particular interest working with clients with racial identity difficulties and has extensive experience working with culturally diverse and LGBQTI patient populations.
Dr. Gratia is a full time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Woodhull Medical Center.
